I run casually and I play ultimate, soccer, ice/roller-skate and bike for a change of pace and to keep the repetitive strain injuries away.

3 mi - 8:15 pace - If I run slower than about 9:00min/mile I have more stability issues/pain, but I'm not strong enough to do it everyday yet, so I'm basically alternating what feels like tempo runs and skating. The skating seems to help build all those random support muscles more than resistence band work was doing.
